Cyclocross Quick Update…

It’s going to be another few weeks until the next Cyclocross UCI cup points race.  Until then here are some links to some things that are happening in cyclocross around the world….

Zdenek Stybar wins the Superprestige Hamme-Zogge in style.  He continues to dominate on fast, dry and relatively flat courses.

In North America it was Jeremy Powers that edged out Ryan Trebon, and Tim Johnson respectively at the Exergy US Gran Prix of Cyclocross’s Derby City Cup .

In women’s Cyclocross racing it was Katie Compton who won over close rivals Katerina Nash and Kaitlin Antonneau (of Milwaukee Wisconsin, our home town at Fantasy Cycling Tour) at the Derby City Cup in Louisville, Kentucky.  That’s great news for Kaitlin because, at only 19 years of age, this bodes well for this rising star.  We are sure that her name will only continue to rise up on race results lists around the world.

That’s all for now cycling fans.  Hope you are looking forward to our next fantasy race on 11-26-11 where our fantasy riders will duke it out in Koksijde, Belgium.

Download the only fantasy cycling application for iPhone if you have not already and be sure to tell your cycling friends about it to get as many people involved as possible.  The more the merrier we always say!
