Liege-Bastogne-Liege
Hey Cycling Fans! Liege Bastogne Liege is here tomorrow. In what usually signals the end of the Arden Classics season this race also is a harbinger of the Summer racing season! We think the best way to enjoy watching this race is by first, reading this blog...then building a fantasy cycling team at www.myfantasycycling.com, then watching it live by following any of the working links listed on www.steephill.tv for free! If you don't have access to the net during the race try watching highlights on Versus tomorrow at around 5pm on Sunday in the US. Local (Wauwatosa) hero Matthew Busche is listed as a starter in support of Andreas Kloden and Chris Horner! Should be exciting to say the least...we will see if Andy Schleck can defend his 2009 title.

Tom Boonen looks Poised to possibly win a record breaking 4 Paris Roubaix titles. He is one of the top contenders but also lurking close by will be some strong competition. Riders with superhuman strength considered favorites include, Roger Hammond, Tyler Farrar, George Hincapie, Thor Hushovd, Allesandro Ballan, Stijn Devolder, Phillipe Gilbert, Juan Antonio Flecha, and the great Fabian Cancellara winner of last week's Tour of Flanders. Tune into Universal Sports online or watch it on Versus (with a delay in the US starting at 5 pm) This could be memorable!

Cancellara Takes Flanders
And then there were two...Tom Boonen, perpetual Belgian super-hero and international sport star and Fabian Cancellara broke away on one of the final climbs of the 2010 Tour of Flanders. Fabian Cancellara, super classics rider and champion time trial specialist made it his third big classics victory in his career. Cancellara won Paris-Roubaix a few years back and Milano-San Remo too, but this has to be another fantastic victory for him. That's 3 of the biggest classics races there are...a huge accomplishment by an measure. To read more on the race and to see how it unfolded you can visit VeloNews www.velonews.com and then watch it on Versus in the US this evening around 5 pm Central time. Stay tuned next week for Paris-Roubaix and buy a fantasy team at www.myfantasycycling.com when the rosters are posted later this week.

Tour De France Teams Announced
Hey cycling fans, Yesterday the 2010 Tour De France Cycling Teams invitations were announced. Among them, an impressive, record setting, 4 teams will be from the United States. This is big news for America's cycling program and possibly telling for the future performance and participation from the US. Here is what Road Bike Rider Review had to say..."America will have an all-time-high 4 teams in the Tour de France. Among the 22 teams invited to the 2010 edition of the world's greatest bike race are U.S.-registered HTC-Columbia, Garmin-Transitions, RadioShack and BMC. Each squad has numerous foreign riders and in most cases the 9-man Tour teams won't be announced for a few more weeks, so it's uncertain how many Americans will be competing. Only one other country, France, will have as many as 4 teams at the Tour's July 3 start in Rotterdam, Holland." Another take, all be it a very entertaining one, is the Blogger with the pen name - "Blazin' Saddles" -(unfortunate arch rival, and perpetual enemy to our blogger Harry Baggins). Catch his hilarious spin on this year's Tour De France Invitees here...http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blog/blazin-saddles/article/68/ and remember to check his web links for more editorials on the sport of cycling.
