ISCorp Cycling Team is using leather handlebar tape and custom end caps from Global Cycling Supply. The elite riders just got back from the Nature Valley stage race in Minnesota and here is an exert from the final race report.
"ISCorp fielded its largest team ever for its most important NRC race of the season.Kyle Jacobson, Alex Wieseler, and junior rider Zack Stein made this year's NVGP their first attempt at an NRC Pro/1 stage race, while Kip Spaude, Steve Scholzen, and Matthew Busche returned after having competed in the race in 2008.
This year’s event started Wednesday morning, with a 7.2km time trial that finished with a climb up the Mississippi river bluff.Sporting their new Trek Equinox time trial bikes, the team all put in solid rides, with Matthew Busche posting the top result in 17th, only 2 seconds off the best amateur jersey that he's had his eyes on since finishing second in that competition in 2008. Kyle also posted a great ride in 71st, besting more than half of the field..."
Global Cycling Supply is currently working out a possible deal with famous artist Geoff McFetridge for a new embossed leather handlebar tape design to be shown at INTERBIKE!!! Hamilton's Verdict - The End
In recent news, Tyler Hamilton received his sentence from his recent positive drug test. It's an eight year ban. Here is what he had to say...
"The eight-year suspension is unfortunate and disheartening. At this time, however, my focus remains on my mother, my family, battling my depression and getting better."
This should come as no surprise to the cycling world. Two failures for drug tests usually result in some serious penalties.
