Tour of Qatar Set to Begin This Sunday
It's that time of year again cycling fans. Desert racing for the pro Peloton commences again on Sunday with big name stars like Tom Boonen, Taylor Phinney, Alessandro Ballan, and many more. In what has historically been a sprinters duel, this year's edition starts with a 8.2 kilometer team time trial. Following this stage the tour continues with 5 flat stages that will surely hold the only key natural obstacle...the desert wind. Stage speeds often exceed averages of 31 miles per hour and race results can often be determined by 15-20 rider splits. Eschelon duels can no doubt determine the final race results at almost any time under the right conditions. If strategic mid-racing strategies don't emerge then look for early season power sprints and monster leadout trains by some of the biggest hitting teams in the sport. Tune into Versus or Sky Tv for recaps and live race action. Check back here for details and race summaries as well!

Here is a great example of one of the most tasty recipes he has available."I do like pancakes, buckwheat pancakes are nice a dense and add a different flavor that other types of grains. The batter will be a little sticky, soupy but the cakes are very filling. I like to pair a couple of sunny side up eggs with a cake or two Buck Wheat Pancakes •1 cup Organic Buckwheat Flour •1 tsp. baking powder •2 Tbsp. raw honey •1/2 tsp. Sea Salt •1 fresh egg •1 cup “raw” whole milk or Almond milk •2 Tbsp. Coconut oil/ghee blend or butter…lightly heated into a liquid Mix dry ingredients together then add egg, honey, milk, and Coconut oil/ghee blend…mix well. Preheat griddle or metal fry pan to a medium high heat… Once heated, grease with coconut oil/ghee blend, pour enough batter to form a cake in the griddle or fry pan. Cook until bubbles form and “pop” on top of the cake then flip and cook for an additional 30-40 seconds. Serve with pure maple syrup…I like grade B, some nuts, nut butter, dried fruit or what ever else you can think of. Enjoy!"
